I discovered a love for taking pictures when I was given a camera in elementary school. Throughout my life I always enjoyed photography, but it was in my college years that photography became most important to me for both business and pleasure. In 1989 I completed a course in professional photography from New York Institute of Photography. The same year a publisher saw some of my work and asked me to photograph models for his publication. I assumed he was kidding, until to my surprise, he gave me the assignment. I quickly put a studio together and started photographing the models. Since then, my photos have appealed in various publications including Men's Passion, Coiffure Q, Swimwear calendars such as Ambrosia 16 Months Calendar of Exotic African-American Women and numerous other publications. Clients I have worked for include Sebastian International, Entertainment Resource International, DePasse Entertainment, Estee Lauder and Fashion Fair just to name a few. Present assignments include Celebrity photography for Great Expectations Image Center in Miami, Florida and travel photography for an upcoming Lifestyle magazine. I have a studio in Delray Beach, Florida. I travel on assignments as needed to do photography as well as educational presentations and exhibit on subjects reverent to what I do.

The services I provide are MODEL, FASHION, GLAMOUR, CELEBRITY and SWIMWEAR photography. Each area of service is represented in my Gallery. I assist aspiring models to help them understand the nature of the business (and it is a business). I help the models create "their look." Together we work on photo sessions, wardrobe, makeup, props, posing, image and most importantly attitude. Beyond general good looks and physical features, attitude is most important. I also assist models with selecting photos, designing and producing composites and head shot glossies. I provide lists of agencies that might be interested in their particular look as well as many other ways of self promotion. I work with actors and actresses in creating black and white character shots and glossies. I work with established models to help them update their look as well as their book. It was IFPO (International Freelance Photographers Organization) that introduced me to the consulting aspect of Model Photography when I was a new member in 1988. The Model Consulting Program is still offered. In Model photography I work more with the person than with the photos. I find the more I focus on the model the better the photos and the greater chance of success. Model photography is always a joint effort with me. The model and I work together for the desired result.
